Tucson Runners Project (“TRP”) was formed in January, 2014 to provide a group running schedule for runners and walkers of all abilities. Our primary goal is to share the joy and passion of running with friends. We recognize that everyone who makes the effort to get out and exercise is an athlete!
Group runs are scheduled 6 days per week, including some days twice per day, and social events and post-run gatherings provide opportunities for additional fun. All paces, distances, and experience levels are welcome. Suggested workouts vary and include weekly track sessions, long runs, hill work, tempo runs, and other runs designed to help us all become better athletes while remaining focused on enjoying the sport with others.
There are no mandatory membership fees but we do accept financial contributions (Click here to contribute) to help defray administrative costs, and participation in some group runs is required to be considered an active TRP member. We also have an optional fee-based personalized coaching program available.
