Tucson Runners Project is a Member Club of the Roadrunners Club of America. Currently, our membership is free, but we do have expenses and therefore encourage our members to consider helping the Club by making a contribution. All members are required to sign a Liability Waiver form.
The Club’s success is dependent on runner participation in our group runs, which are scheduled almost daily. The group runs are first and foremost, but we also maintain a Facebook “group” page where members can share encouragement and ideas. We ask that members attend at least some of the group runs – that is how you can be most helpful to other members. We encourage all members to also request to “join” the Facebook group, which is moderated. If you do not attend a group run over a period of 3 – 4 months, and do not have a specific reason such as injury or travel, then we may elect to remove you from the Facebook group under the assumption that you have chosen to no longer participate in TRP. You may request to be added back in to the group at a future date when you are able to participate in TRP group runs.
The Membership Application and Liability Waiver may be downloaded at the link below, and you can bring them to any group run. Note that as a Member Club of RRCA, your membership data may be shared with RRCA, which will allow them to communicate with you (including a subscription to the RRCA “Club Running” newsletter).
